As one of over 45 locations in the world, SAE Miami is an extension of the SAE network into the south east of the United States. With it's heritage in music and culture Miami provides us with a great location for those who want to learn for the creative industries.

News and Events

Graduation event

Friday 29th SAE Miami will be hosting a graduation party for it's recent grads. The event will be followed at 8pm by a concert featuring the bands Fusik and Lights Down Low. Current students, instructors and supervisors will be engineering the event. Front of house will be run John David Thomas, live engineer to Lauren Hill and live sound instructor for our Audio Technology Program. Paul D'Errico will guide students in the live recording of the event that will later be mixed in one of our studio facilities.

Open house Saturday 23rd August

SAE Miami will be opening it's doors to prospective students and parents on the 23rd of August, 2008. The open house will consist of tours of our workstations, visits to our studios and the opportunity for you to talk first hand to the staff at SAE about what makes us the right choice for your education in audio or video. Crate record convention at SAE

On Saturday April 19th SAE Miami hosted the Crate record convention. The convention,free to vendors and buyers alike, attracted prestigious traders and was supported by Red Bull.

Digidesign Demos ICON

Local representatives from Digidesign offered SAE students a hands on instructional seminar with their ICON control surface. Students were shown how to "mix out of the box" using the ICON running large multi-track sessions. Students will continue to be able to get hands on access to the ICON as Digidesign has put the unit on loan at SAE Miami for a few weeks for student testing.
 
 

SAE Magzine

The latest issue of the international SAE Magazine is out - and it raises the bar. On 106 pages readers can find out about activities in the worldwide SAE network and our Alumni Association. There is also an interview with Nick Cervonaro, engineer at Air studios, as well as other industry professionals.
